We’re a technology company that knows business is about people not pixels
Technology is vital to business, but that doesn’t make it easy to select and manage. That’s where we come in. Since founding Solutions4ebiz over a decade ago, Jack Wilson and Michael Sheward have brought together smart, skilled team members and partners with a shared vision of providing technology solutions with personal service.
[President & CEO]
Jack Wilson founded Solutions4ebiz in 2000 with partner Michael Sheward and is the company's president and CEO. Jack provides strategic business direction for the Indianapolis area software development and technology solutions company. His business and technology background helps Solutions4ebiz understand the customer's perspective to translate industry-specific needs into customized solutions.
Jack has many years of experience directing organizations' financial and business operations, having played key roles in several startups and acquisitions. Prior to founding Solutions4ebiz, he served as the chief operating officer of Turf Partners, Inc., the golf course supply and distribution subsidiary of San Diego-based Eco Soil Systems, Inc. While at Turf Partners, he managed computer functions and was integrally involved in a software conversion process for the company's 20 warehouses. It was during his tenure there that Jack became acquainted with technology expert and future partner Michael Sheward. He also served as chief financial officer and co-owner of Cannon Turf Supply before Eco Soil Systems acquired it in 1998.
Prior to this, Jack served as vice-president of The Blakley Corporation, an Indianapolis-based contracting company specializing in interior and exterior finishes, as well as president of its subsidiary, TileWorks. He began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and his CPA certificate. Jack is involved in the Indiana CPA Society, a member of the St.Vincent Northeast Region Finance Committee, president of Main Street Pendleton, president of the Pendleton/Fall Creek Township Parks and Recreation Board, the Finance Chairman and Church Council member of Pendleton First United Methodist Church, and the Secretary/Treasurer of the National Broadband Cooperative.
[Chief Technology Officer]
Michael Sheward helped Jack Wilson start Solutions4ebiz in 2000, and is the Indianapolis area software development and technology solutions company's chief technology officer. Mike directs the strategic and tactical direction of the company and organizes all technology research and development activities. He also oversees technology projects and implementations for Solutions4ebiz customers and manages the company's diverse technical staff.
Mike has an extensive technology background, with experience in a wide variety of industries, development platforms and applications. In the early 1990s, he was involved in early integration of Internet Web servers and SQL databases before these technologies were completely understood. Throughout his career, Mike has had the opportunity to work in many business sectors, including health care, insurance, software, nonprofit, telecommunications and tourism. He spent two years traveling Asia while providing technical software support for Indianapolis-based life insurance software company PALLM, Inc. One of his most significant projects included re-engineering the software and IT infrastructure for non-profit organization Easter Seals Crossroads Rehabilitation Center, which allowed the organization to take full advantage of Internet technologies while the Internet was still in its infancy.
Mike holds a degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, where he also studied computer science. He is a Sun-certified engineer and is committed to supporting Open Source projects.
